Trip to Khao Lak, Phuket


The beach front resort at the JW Marriott, Khao Lak Phuket was spectacular...the pool itself was several kilometres long, wrapping around the entire resort and the villas.

The grandparents joined us on our holiday too and loved walking on the beach with my daughter and son. We were actually celebrating my mother in-laws birthday and thanks to the hotel staff it was a special holiday filled with excitement and the best cuisine Phuket has to offer!!

We did not have to worry about our son at all once the food & beverage manager was informed of his allergies all the restaurants at the resort knew who we were and his specially prepared meals came to the poolside or any restaurant we dined at...we felt truly at ease and pampered at the highest level possible.

My son finally gave the Chef a 10/10 when the staff brought a Beef Wellington to the pool to the envy of all swimmers who scanned the menu and looked at us in surprise!

The Chef had gone way beyond our expectations and created the most scrumptious Beef Wellington which my son thoroughly enjoyed and talked about the entire day and requested me to make it at home....I wish!! The mushroom sauce was delicious between the tender meat all wrapped in a crispy pastry....I couldn't resist after having a bite I was in 7th heaven!!

The dishes made for my son from the pumpkin gnocchi and chocolate mousse were all made with love and affection from all the Chefs.

At breakfast each morning the Chef would come out to greet us and once we were settled brought my son specially prepared vegetable cutlets and a gourmet salad with all his favourites!

We were treated like royalty at each restaurant and the wait staff at the Thai restaurant brought a special dish for my son prepared from the main kitchen with fruit to follow since he couldn't eat anything from the menu.

It was our best family holiday yet - relaxing, rejuvenating, great weather and the most safest dining experiences outside the home for our son!

Staycation at the Fantabulous Fairmont Hotel, Singapore

 Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have not enjoyed a family holiday for two years ! Since we were all back home, we decided to try a Staycation in Singapore during the Christmas season. Luxurious Leela Ambience Hotel, Dining at the Zanotta with Zest, Gurugram (Gurgaon) India

Dining at the Leela Ambience Hotel's famous Italian restaurant "Zanotta", in my son's exact words: "Was Like Being Transported to Another Dimension!" Italian Master Chef Leidy Liz Levitan Hernandez’s bubbly personality blended with the luxurious  menu can only enrich your tastebuds and feed the soul.
