Luxurious Leela Ambience Hotel, Dining at the Zanotta with Zest, Gurugram (Gurgaon) India


Dining at the Leela Ambience Hotel's famous Italian restaurant "Zanotta", in my son's exact words: "Was Like Being Transported to Another Dimension!"

 Italian Master Chef Leidy Liz Levitan Hernandez’s bubbly personality blended with the luxurious menu can only enrich your tastebuds and feed the soul.

 Chef Leidy started Krish's dining experience with a mango and avocado green salad with a pumpkin soup then a ravioli for the main course and made a delicious chocolate and mango sorbet for dessert.

 Special thanks to Chef Amit Thapa who personally handcrafted the most delicate, delicious eggless spinach and ricotta ravioli with luscious tomato and basil sauce; it was an unforgettable experience for our son Krish - his first time tasting ravioli!!!
                 



Yummy!! Sensational Mango and Chocolate Sorbet with a Sliced Mango Chip 

Krish was obviously not satisfied and the next day went back for lunch... he was hoping for a specially prepared Burrata. Unfortunately, the kitchen didn't have the stock so he had his special salad instead and was a little disappointed. 

However, Chef Leidy soon brought a smile to his face with a wonderful, specially prepared porcini mushroom estroprezetti in a cream sauce which was mind-blowing! 



Which he topped off again with a double serving of the luxurious sorbet!!

We are definitely coming back for the Burrata fatta in casa, peperoni e pomodoro—homemade burrata with roasted peppers and tomato confit.   and the Cannoli Siciliani al cioccolato—chocolate pastry eggless tubes filled with sweet Italian cream.

Staycation at the Fantabulous Fairmont Hotel, Singapore

 Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have not enjoyed a family holiday for two years ! Since we were all back home, we decided to try a Staycation in Singapore during the Christmas season.
