Staycation at the Fantabulous Fairmont Hotel, Singapore


 Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have not enjoyed a family holiday for two years !

Since we were all back home, we decided to try a Staycation in Singapore during the Christmas season. Our expectations were not very high since the excitement of traveling to another country and a new cultural experience wasn’t on the cards! 

But we were in for a huge surprise… the staff at the Fairmont Gold Lounge catered to our every need … whilst sipping, exotic drinks and eating delectable delights, we enjoyed a birds eye view of the Singapore skyline from the 25th fl!! 


The wonderful Chef Wong amazed my son Krish with his creative culinary skills with Pork Congee and Bee Hoon for breakfast with a platter of fresh fruit and a variety of cheese; Sweet and Sour and Raspberry Chicken for dinner followed by Lemongrass Jelly  and fresh fruits for dessert 🥰🥰

We decided to try Chef Wong’s new restaurant at Raffles City "The House of Wei”,  again the Chef succeeded with a creative menu which was just the perfect end to a lovely evening… his sweet corn chicken soup, stir fry tofu with vegetables and wagyu beef fried rice reached beyond all gastronomic goals for Krish… professionalism, care and creativity with taste and flavour, each dish was a masterpiece!! 

The celebration 🍾 was in full swing with Krish enjoying such an extravagant, extensive menu we were able to enjoy the wonderful views and the warm hospitality of the Fairmont Gold Lounge staff.


The pampering was extended to the poolside by friendly staff, ensuring all Krish's food was carefully prepared avoiding all his allergens. We enjoyed cocktails whilst Krish enjoyed a few laps before indulging in a delicious wood fire oven baked Margherita Pizza. 

The Fairmont was truly a fantabulous family staycation we celebrated the festive season, relaxed, rejuvenated and enjoyed the comforts while indulging in a huge selection of breakfast delights and evening drinks with canapés. 



Thank goodness for the gym … where we all enjoyed burning 🔥 a few calories!! 😅😅

Luxurious Leela Ambience Hotel, Dining at the Zanotta with Zest, Gurugram (Gurgaon) India

Dining at the Leela Ambience Hotel's famous Italian restaurant "Zanotta", in my son's exact words: "Was Like Being Transported to Another Dimension!" Italian Master Chef Leidy Liz Levitan Hernandez’s bubbly personality blended with the luxurious  menu can only enrich your tastebuds and feed the soul. Chef Leidy started Krish's dining experience with a mango and avocado green salad with a  pumpkin soup then a ravioli for the main course and made a delicious chocolate and mango sorbet for dessert.
